We just finished a two month rental of this apartment and we so enjoyed it and the neighborhood that we have reserved it again. When we arrived the owner was there to greet us and show us around. He was also very responsive to any questions we had and responded quickly to minor maintenance issues like light bulb replacement and vacuum repair.
The apartment was as good as the photographs. Staying in a 1,000 year old building with exposed original stone arches from the original monastery that occupied the building was a first for us and we loved it. The kitchen is well equipped to make dinners with items purchased from the market down the street and enjoyed on the terrace. The location was perfect and we can’t wait to go back.

This is a spacious apartment for five of us. All of the bedrooms were good size. The living room and dining area were one large space. The kitchen area was a bit narrow and long but adequate for us since we didn’t do much cooking. It had three bathrooms and two toilets. There was a nice deck for sunny days. The WiFi and air conditioning worked well. Fab apartment in the Centre of Aix-en-Provence! We had such a great week. The local Supermarkt was not far (be warned that alcohol is not served after 21.00!) and it was very much downtown. We rented a car and used their private garage – very clear instructions. Just be wary of driving to the apartment as access is only via a card (which will be provided). Very nice flat, as advertised (maybe even bigger than it looks in photos). Well appointed, quiet, clean, comfortable and perfectly located. Good outdoor space is a bonus. This apartment is great! First off, the location is amazing. You are right in the centre of the action. There is a delicious bakery a few doors down and delicious restaurants just around the corner. The huge market, which is held three times a week, is literally 50 meters from the front door. The only surprise for us was that the cab/Uber couldn’t drop us off at our door, because they have some streets that only locals can access. It wasn’t a big deal to walk a couple blocks with our bags to find that apartment though. Now to the apartment, it is lovely. It is very spacious and clean with many modern upgrades. It has a washing machine in the apartment as well. The terrace is fantastic and large. It is quite private and looks out into a typical French courtyard. The crib was also very helpful for our little family. All in all, Aix is an amazing place to visit and this apartment will only make you feel that much more immersed in the local culture.

Excellent location that is close to everything but also quiet – feels like you are living like a local. The unit is a very nice mix between new and old and we really enjoyed the AC and terrace.
